Boy I love the weekend! I was super busy this weekend, but it was filled with creative time so I can’t complain too much! I went to the Plano Balloon Festival. Have you ever seen lots of hot air balloons in one place, in the dark, with flickering lights? It’s beautiful! Like huge fireflies in the field! If you ever get the chance to visit a Balloon Festival, GO! (I’ll show you a hot air balloon inspired project later this week!) I was also asked to teach a class at my church on making little sweets. How’d they know I have a really bad sweet tooth? We made a few simple projects, most of which involved chocolate-10 pounds of chocolate. Yum! I had children, teens, and adults attend the class. Total I think there were about 25 people and boy did we have fun! We dipped pretzels, cake balls, decorated brownies, and made little chocolate mice!
