Thanks to everyone who stopped by and saw me at the CHA Supershow last week! I had so much fun meeting many of you in person! I had the chance to purchase a tabletop display through the Craft Critique Handmade Pavilion. I even made my own display! Happy New Year!
I'm SO excited about this year! Great things are happening-new stamp sets, new sewing patterns, some new downloadable projects, and other BIG things to be announced soon! I spent the last few months working for Provo Craft and was on the road about 28 days a month since September, so I apologize for the lack of posts, it's a little difficult to work on projects in a hotel room, although I was able to sketch up quite a few to complete once I got home! Video: Quick and Easy Gifts!
I had the wonderful opportunity a few weeks ago to film a short video segment for a local newspaper's online column (The Pioneer Press's Mommy on Shoestring). Placecards for Thanksgiving!
Remember the place mat I shared with you a little while ago? I made some little place cards to go with it! I'll show you how and share with you the PDF so that you can make your own customized ones! What you'll need: A few sheets of patterned paper (Trimmed to 7 3/4" x 3 1/2") Orange Cardstock (Trimmed to 2 3/4" x 1 3/4") Light Ivory Cardstock (You'll print on this so make sure it's trimmed down to 8 1/2" x 11" to fit into your printer!) Ok, so I've got a easy project for your Thanksgiving Tables today for you! I've made a little embroidered place mat tutorial and pattern for you! You know I love to keep my projects super simple so here's what you need: -1 Placemat (or as many as you need for all your guests) I found my place-mat at Target for $2.99. Table-scape Class!
Where in the world has October gone? I'm really not sure, but I've been busy creating some new projects to share! I'll also be teaching a few classes right here in the Chicago area! This is next week's class that I'll be teaching at Craft Fancy. We'll be doing a complete table-scape, just in time for Thanksgiving! We'll be completing a custom placemat, place cards (or dish labels, whichever you prefer) as well as napkin rings and votive holders.
