I'm finally almost unpacked from my move and have had a chance to finish a sewing pattern I've been working on for a few weeks! It's available in the store now. I call it Beach Towel 2.0! Don't let the wind or a towel that won't stay on your chair hamper your summer fun! You can upgrade your standard towel to add handles, pockets, and a way to attach it to the chair. Tweet Day Gift Bag
Swap is tonight and the theme was a gift bag. It could be a gift box, bag, or anything else to give a gift in. I bought the craft paper brown bags and embelished them. A little tag. (hint: tag sentiment and border might be images from my new stamps. Do you like them?) Close up of the birdie. I cut out the shape from the paper and adhered that to the bag. Then I used tacky glue and traced around the bird. I pulled out a skein of yarn that I bought just because I liked it. I outlined the bird with the yarn for a little dimension. Valentines Day
This project that I did for Christian was inspired through the Sprite Stitch Blog which I found through Celia's website. Apparently he's a friend of her husband. Cool blog for those who like gaming and crafting!!!! I saw this pattern from his blog and decided to make Christian a little dice bag for Valentines day. I actually have never finished a cross stitch until this one! All the other ones I've started have been pretty big and I've lost interest before finishing so this one was just the right size!
