Tutorial Tuesday: 3-D Butterfly Card

Spring is in the air!  (OK, well, almost...it was only in the 40's today in Chicago.) But we've got to think positive thoughts, right?!?  Here's a quick card to make! Supplies: Stamps: Furnishing Fun Stamp Set Paper: American Crafts paper, white vellum (source unknown...my scrap pile!) Embellishments: Opal Pearl Paint Adhesives: Vellum Tape, Permanent Tape, and Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives This card is a standard size of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  To make the 3D part, cut a piece of vellum that's 5" x 2".  Score both ends of the vellum 3/8" in from the side.  (This will make a little flap to adhere your vellum tape … [Read more...]

New Clear Stamps Now Available!

Yea!  I've been waiting all week to share with you the new releases and Friday is FINALLY here!  Ready for them?  I've got a total of 4 new ones to share with you!  Don't forget to read all the way through for the info. on the GIVEAWAY! So here's the first one!  Hexagon-A-Thon!  I love hexagons and their ability to be used separately or fit nicely together to make a pattern.  This set comes with 10 hexagon images that can be interchanged!  The three larger borders fit nicely around the smaller ones and are easily stamped on top because they are clear! Outside the box is a great stamp set too!  This set has 4 blocks, and the fillers, so … [Read more...]

Stamp your own pattern!

Stamp your own pattern!

Ok LOVE this set too!  I've always envisioned a set with multiple patterns that can be used by themselves or added to to make a full sheet of pattern, or just a border.  Here's a card I made with this set!  I love the look of white stamping on kraft paper!  Subtle but still a statement.  Here I stamped the white with one stamp pattern and the blue dot is a different stamp pattern that goes right on top and lines up perfectly! What do you think so far?  Loving what you see?  Be sure to check back Friday to see all the new stamp sets! … [Read more...]

Hexagons Stamps are fun too!

Hexagons Stamps are fun too!

Ready for another sneak peek?  This one is from the new set called Hexagon-A-Thon!  It's full of hexagon stamps with patterns and outlines that can be stacked, layered, and changed!  The tags you see are actually made from 3 different stamps.  This gives you the option of going with a border (or two) or no border at all, as well as letting you decide if you want them all the same color or not!  How cool is that!  I love stamps that let you choose how you want the final image to look, instead of being stuck with the entire image in one color! Oh and if you see the little owl charm I made, you might recognize it, it's from my Have A Tweet … [Read more...]
