I posted this fun clutch on Instagram a couple of weeks ago. My testers are done testing it and the PDF pattern is ready for purchase! The hard copy of the pattern will be ready for shipping by the end of the week too! I love this clutch because it hardly takes any fabric and it's got some fun options, all of which are included in the pattern! You can use scrappy strips (the same size as jelly roll strips if you have a few extra hanging around!), or one fat quarter to make this super snazzy clutch. This one was made with some Liberty of London and some gold metallic linen, both from CityCraft. It's hard to tell that the top part is … [Read more...]
Londoner Clutch
Here's a little project I can finally share! It took nearly a month to reach my sister in Germany and I wanted to wait until she got it before I spoiled the surprise! I've had the pleasure of working with Melissa at Iza Pearl Design, one of Windham Fabrics newest fabric designers, to design and sew some of her samples for market! It's been so much fun working with the fabrics! Would you like to see a sneak peek? This little gal is the Garden Party Clutch! Isn't she fun?!? … [Read more...]
Tutorial Tuesday: It’s Fall
I love fall! From now through the end of the year (maybe even into February) is my favorite time of the year! So many great holidays to make stuff for. Today is a little mix of some things I've been working on. (No time for a tutorial this week because I'm busy playing with stamps, NEW stamps that is! I'm finalizing the sets, and testing to make sure that they all work out just how I want them to! I can't WAIT to share them with you!!) Here's a few other things I've been up to: Sewing samples of my free fabric pumpkin sewing pattern (available here) for the class I'm teaching at CityCraft in Dallas next month. (They just opened … [Read more...]
