Hello Hello! I hope everyone is staying cool! It's been super hot here in the Midwest, and it seems most everywhere else too! Perfect time for a frozen treat, or a whole bowl full! I'm staying cool by thinking about all the gelato I had in Italy: I have a confession: I always say I'm not a scrapbooker, but I made a layout yesterday. I remembered why I don't scrapbook as much. Because this one layout took me about 4 hours. I loved detailed layouts with hidden journaling, lots of teeny tiny embellishments, and just the right papers! I think I might actually frame it in a shadow box because I LOVE how it turned out! (The little … [Read more...]
Tutorial Tuesday: Custom Stylish Luggage
By now you can probably tell that I love to add my own style to things (like the custom passport cover) so I decided that my plain black luggage was also fair game! Well, the almost plain luggage. I got it free, but wanted something a little more "me" for the trip. For this project I used some scrap fabric I had, ironed some heat and bond to the back of it, cut it out, and ironed it onto my luggage! Now I'll know which one is mine! Best part? It's easy! Tutorial Tuesday: Strawberry Boxes

These would make great party favors, brunch decorations, or a great addition to a Mother's Day gift! (I know I'll be sticking a few in the package I'm sending out!) Download the PDF here. It includes the Strawberry boxes in a light and dark pink, 2 different cards, and the blank template if you want to use your own patterned paper to make the boxes! (Have a Cricut and the SCAL software? You can download the box template here and the leaf … [Read more...]
Tutorial Tuesday: 3-D Butterfly Card

To make the 3D part, cut a piece of vellum that's 5" x 2". Score both ends of the vellum 3/8" in from the side. (This will make a little flap to adhere your vellum tape … [Read more...]
Happy Friday!
I hope everyone is safe and warm! Looks like there has been snow pretty much everywhere this week! Here are a few little projects I've been working on this week with the Cricut: And have I ever mentioned that pretty much all my crafting talant came from my mom? Here's proof: How cute is this card? Get it? I'm "toad"ly into you! And how about that cute extra long curly tongue on the frog? Have a great weekend and a Happy Valentine's Day everyone! P.S.
