The San Antonio Modern Quilt Guild had their cookie exchange this past weekend. I had so much fun seeing everyone, eating delicious food, and marveling at all the cookies! Here is the cookie recipe I shared with everyone. They are one of my favorite Christmastime cookie! The blend of cinnamon, ginger, and clove is perfect! Chewy Ginger Spice Cookies  2 cups flour 2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp ground cloves 1 cup sugar 1 egg, beaten 3/4 cup shortening 1/4 cup molasses   Mix all the dry ingredients together, then add in the wet ingredients.
