Hexagons Stamps are fun too!

September 15, 2009

Hexagons Stamps are fun too!

Ready for another sneak peek?  This one is from the new set called Hexagon-A-Thon!  It's full of hexagon stamps with patterns and outlines that can be stacked, layered, and changed!  The tags you see are actually made from 3 different stamps.  This gives you the option of going with a border (or two) or no border at all, as well as letting you decide if you want them all the same color or not!  How cool is that!  I love stamps that let you choose how you want the final image to look, instead of being stuck with the entire image in one color! Father’s Day Gift Container

May 26, 2009

Here's a quick hexagon box template that was well loved last year: 1. Download template here. Find a wood grain image online that you like. I like to look at Wilsonart Laminates , or Treefrog Veneers. Once you find an image that you like, right click on the image and save it to your computer. 2. Print the wood grain image on photo paper or cardstock, then print the templates onto the wood grain. (Any other pattern will work too!) 3. Then follow the directions on the template to finish up! If you'd like to do the graduated sizes like shown above, just print at different percentages. Try 85%, 100%, and 120%. Stay tuned this week … [Read more...]

Anyway, I'm super excited about next weeks tutorial. Think home decor! So until next week, here's a printable calendar for you! Here's the preview below. You can download the PDF by clicking here. Just print it on cardstock without scaling or fitting to page. If you trim the page in half you'll have two calendars. One to keep and one to give to a friend. You could also print it onto fabric like this and border it in a coordinating fabric and … [Read more...]
