We're going to embellish a sketchbook today.  I usually buy mine in packs of 3 plain ones and embellish them depending on my mood or favorite color.  This weekend I finished filling up one sketchbook and needed to get another one ready to go.  My last one was embossed paper and velvet ribbon: I went with something a little more fall feeling this time around.  I had a scrap of red vinyl in my scrap bag and stamped a pattern on that.  I really like how it turned out!
