I saw candy corn at the store this weekend and was reminded of how cute those little things are, plus they are just so delicious! I knew I had to do something with a candy corn shape on it so we'll be making this card today: In case you were wondering, yes, those are ALL brads! But don't worry I've made things easy for you! Here's the layout I did in Illustrator! Just print it here and you're ready to go! Happy 100th Post!
Ok, so I promised something big... I hope you like it! I put together a book for you! It's the Project Recipe Book! I would have loved to have this book when I was first starting out with card making. It can be really hard to come up with different layouts for your cards. Wood Grain Hexagon Boxes Directions: 1. Download template here. Find a wood grain image online that you like. I like to look at Wilsonart Laminates , or Treefrog Veneers. Once you find an image that you like, right click on the image and save it to your computer. 2. Print the wood grain image on photo paper or cardstock, then print the templates onto the wood grain. (Any other pattern will work too!) 3. Then follow the directions on the template to finish up! To print the three different graduated sizes I printed the template at 85%, 100%, and 125%. Hope you like it! … [Read more...]
Pizza Box Project

It even fits a gift card just perfectly. The finished size is right around 3 1/2" square. Here is one I did this afternoon: The one below is one I made from a clear transparency. First I found a pattern I liked from a wrapping paper image from The Container Store online. I printed it out onto the transparency and then printed out the template on top. Then it's just a matter of … [Read more...]
